1. The product

PhotoKeeper browses iCloud Photos and creates independent local backups. Supported uploads and account migrations add selected media to authenticated destination accounts without deleting source content. It is not bidirectional synchronization. Check your backups and retain additional copies.

2. Licenses and purchases

Licenses are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Personal covers 1 permanently bound Apple Account; Family covers up to 3. An upgrade expands the same Personal license to 3 accounts. The license is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable, for personal or authorized internal use. PhotoKeeper remains the developer and licensor of the Software.

The free preview shows local media and up to the latest 100 cloud thumbnails per account. New original downloads, full cloud-library synchronization and manual or scheduled backups require activation. Purchases and upgrades start in the app, where you confirm the account and price.

3. Permanent account binding

Confirm the masked Apple Account before purchase or redemption. Each consumed seat remains linked to its underlying iCloud identity. Changing an email, deleting a display label, changing devices or requesting label erasure does not transfer or release the seat. Activation and recovery codes must be kept private.

4. Payments and online validation

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and handles payment, taxes, receipts and approved refunds. The checkout total controls. PhotoKeeper remains responsible for product delivery, technical support and its own data processing. See the Refund Policy.

Signed offline authorization lasts up to 24 hours during the first 15 days after purchase or upgrade and while a refund is pending; otherwise up to 30 days. When it expires, paid operations require an online refresh. Existing local files are not remotely deleted.

5. Use and third-party services

Use only accounts and content you are authorized to access. Do not bypass licensing or security controls, resell or share seats commercially, infringe rights, break applicable law, interfere with services or reverse engineer except where law permits. PhotoKeeper is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc. Apple's terms, availability and technical restrictions apply to iCloud; other providers have their own terms.

6. Updates, warranties and liability

Your license includes stable updates made available for its major version during its support lifecycle; it does not promise perpetual development, infrastructure, third-party compatibility or future paid major versions. See Support & Lifecycle.

To the extent legally permitted, the software is provided as is and as available, without guaranteed uninterrupted access or support for every format. Liability for an affected license is limited to its purchase price, except fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and liability that cannot legally be limited. Mandatory warranties and remedies remain available.

7. Suspension and refunds

We may restrict online license operations when reasonably necessary for fraud, abuse, security, payment reversal, legal obligations or material breach. A full base-purchase refund ends the whole license; an upgrade-only refund restores Personal access to the primary account. Partial refunds and tax adjustments are assessed individually. Local backups and permanent binding history remain.

8. Governing law and changes

The laws of the People's Republic of China and its competent courts apply, subject to consumers' mandatory rights to the law and courts of their residence. Material revisions are published with an updated effective date; they do not remove existing mandatory rights or retroactively reduce purchased rights. Contact us to resolve concerns.
